As a child, every summer I was sent to a dacha in the Vladimir region. The dacha was similar to a small prison camp — the limited territory, obligatory daily work in a garden, card games with grandmothers. Soap operas. It was forbidden to go out of the site, so people from neighbor communicated through the fence. I had no friends there.
It's strange to say this, but in this microcosm I eventually understood what it meant to be excluded from society, learned what death and religion are, discovered atheism, tried to run away from home and kill myself.
When I think about my life there, I wonder how insignificant all these motives of life, death, struggle and freedom seem to me now.

This film, shot during the break between lunch and tea, is dedicated to the sense of tragedy changing scale.
